Pragya Jaiswal is an Indian film actress and model. She has appeared in Telugu cinema.
Jaiswal was born and brought up in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. He completed his studies at Symbiosis Law School in Pune.
During her early days at Symbiosis University, she participated in various beauty pageants and became a successful model. On 22 January 2014 he received the Symbiosis Sanskrit Award for his achievement in the field of art and culture.
Career
Jaiswal made her acting debut in 2014 in a South Indian bi-lingual film released in Viratu / Diga Tamil and Telugu. In 2015, he starred in the Telugu film Mirchi Lanti Kurradu and later in the period drama Kanche directed by Krish.
Jaiswal had earlier auditioned for a role in Krish’s Gabbar Is Back. He did not play that role but Krish later offered him the lead role in Kannada. He played Sita Devi, the daughter of a wealthy landowner who falls in love with Hari Babu , who later fights in World War II. She received generally positive comments for her performance, especially as most critics praised her look.
123telugu.com wrote, “She looks stunning and should thank Krish for her big break. Pragya has an amazing screen presence and is a star to watch out for.” The film was awarded the 63rd National Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu. He made a cameo in the film Jaya Janaki Nayak starring Belakonda Srinivas, Rakul Preet Singh, Jagapathi Babu.
She was the brand ambassador of South India Shopping Mall and R.S. Brother for 2016–2017.
He did Akkenneni Nagarjuna’s Om Namo Venkateshay in 2017. The devotional, directed by Raghavendra Rao, made a cameo appearance for Hathiram Bhavaji’s biographical film “Anandam”.
